We have tried our best to cover all the Ramayana Trails in each country.

Day 1 : Airport - Arr Kathmandu

Met upon arrival and transfer to the Hotel. Since we do not know what time your flight arr. so we will schedule the program once we hear from you – otherwise we can take you to the Local Market of Kathmandu and later back to the hotel for o/n stay.

Day 2 : Kathmandu

Local city tour of Kathmandu – visit Living Goddess temple / Durbar Square /The Palace of the King and Swayambunath  + Bhaktapur and later return back to the Hotel.

Day 3 : Kathmandu

Visit Pashupatinath + Baudnath + Patan and evening free for Local market.

Day 4 : Janakpur

Lv after breakfast to the Holy city of Nepal – Janakpur – upon arrival check inn the Hotel and later visit the local market In the evening may be you can attend the prayer and o/n in the Hotel.

Day 5 : Janakpur

Visit the holy sites at Janakpur which is :: Lv after b/f for Janakpur - The city that has been mentioned in Ramanayana as birthplace of Sita, Ram’s consort. 

Another important religious site nearby is Dhanushadham, its reference again dating back to the Ramayan era. It is believed to be the place where the broken remains of the divine Shiva bow fell after Ram broke it to obtain Sita's hand in marriage

Day 6 : Nepal Border – Drive to Gorakhpur

Lv after b/f for Gorakhpur – you have to interchange the transportation – Nepalese bus will drop you at Indian Border and Indian bus would be waiting for you at the border to drive to - Gorakhpur.

Upon Arrival visit - Arogya Mandir in Gorakhpur is one of the very reputed wellness centers in Gorakhpur.This wellness center induces a natural healing process in the body which gives boost to self-curative forces and enable in healing and acquiring health. Archaeological Museum is a place that attracts tourists from far and wide.

Day 7 : Ayoydhya & stay at Lucknow 

Lv after b/f for Ayoydhya - was one of the holiest cities where the religious faiths of Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam and Jainism united together to build a place of enormous sacred importance. Located on the banks of the River Saryu, the city of Ayodhya is one of the oldest cities in the country. it is also well known for the fairly large number of temples that it is home to.

Visit upon arrival – Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhawan Temple, Nageshwarnath Temple, Ram Katha Museum and Ramkot Citadel and in the evening Aarti at the main temple and then proceed to Lucknow – o/n in Lucknow.

Day 8 : Allahabad

Lv after b/f for small tour of Lucknow  and visit Chota Imambara, Bara Imambara and then proceed to Allahabad – and visit Hanuman Mandir, Triveni by boat to see the confluence of River Yaumna, Ganga and Saraswati and you can have the dip at the confluence and later proceed to see Bade Hanuman ji Temple, Lalita Devi Temple and Anand Bhawan and proceed to the Hotel for o/n stay.

Day 9 : Chitrakoot – Allahabad 

 

Lv after b/f for day excursion to see Chitrakoot and visit upon arr. Gupt Godavri Caves, Ram Ghat , Sati Anusuya Temple , Hanuman Dhara Temple , Sita Rasoi  and Kamadgiri temple and then you have little time for the market and its time to proceed to Allahabad. O/n in the Hotel.

Day 10: Mumbai

 

Morning free at Allahabad and afternoon proceed to the airport to board the flight for Mumbai and upon arrival transfer to the Hotel. Enjoy the Gateway of India mainly and time for the shopping at the finest market in Mumbai and o/n in the Hotel.

Day 11 : Nashik

Drive to Nashik – upon arrival visit Panchavati, the name of the forest home of Rama, during his exile, in Ramayana. Panchavati, a famous religious and pilgrimage place in India, situated on the banks of River Godavari in Nasik. Visit Sita Gufa and Panchvati as well as Kapleshwar Temple. Nasik is on the banks of the Godavari river, which flows to the bay of Bengal. Lakshmana cut off the nose of Surpanakha, the younger sister of Ravana, here. That is why this place got the name Nasik. Kumbha Mela takes place here every 12 years.

Later move back  to the hotel.

Day 12: Nashik

Lv after b/f for Mumbai and fly to Bangalore – A leisure day for all of you – enjoy the IT hub of the country and even the markets are great here. Enjoy time visiting  Markets and also this City is called as the city of the Gardens. O/n in the Hotel.

Day 13: Leepakshi Temple & stay at Annantpur 

 

Today drive to Leepakshi after the breakfast and upon arrival visit The famous Veerabhadra temple that dates back to 1583, and is dedicated to Veerabhadra, is located here. It was built by the brothers Viranna and Virupanna.  it has idols of Ganesha, Nandi, Veerabhadra, Shiva, Bhadrakali, Vishnu and Lakshmi. A huge Nandi bull made out of a single granite stone is one of the major attractions near the main Lepakshi temple.

Day 14 : Bangalore & fly to Vidhyanagar and drive to Hampi

Today – you drive to Bangalore and you fly to Vidhyanagar (closest place for Hampi Hospet) – upon arrival check in the Hotel and enjoy the local market.

Day 15: Hampi

Visit the Site - Hampi was once the capital of the powerful Vijayanagar empire, which for two centuries was one of the most powerful empires in Indian history. Vijayanagar means "the city of victory". It was considered at one time greater than Rome and "the best provided city in the world". At its height half a million people lived in the city and the Vijayanagar empire had an army of over one million. At this place Shri Rama first met Hanuman. It is also said to be the spot where Parvati (known as Hampi) met and married Lord Shiva. The most beautifull place in south of India is Hampi

Day 16: Hampi

Lakshminarasimha temple was constructed in 1528 AD when King Krishnadevaraya was ruling. The temple is famous for its stupendous stone statue of Narasimha, one of the ten forms of Vishnu.

Hampi is a land scattered with the stupendous remains and relics of the Vijayanagara empire, which was one of the most glorious empires in India, and Hazara Ram Temple is one of the smallest temples here.

Virupaksha Temple in Hampi is a must visit for history buffs and religious people. The temple is located on the banks of the river Tungabhadra and is one of the structures in the Group of Monuments in Hampi, which is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 17: Hampi to Banglore (fly)

Morning free and later as per the flight drive to Vidhyanagar airport to fly to Bangalore – upon arrival check in the hotel.

Day 18 : Bangalore & fly to Madurai 

Fly to Madurai upon arrival drive to  Rameshwaram is one of the important places connected to Ramayana which has a strong mythological connection with the epic. Rameswaram is where Lord Rama built Rama Sethu across the sea to Lanka to rescue Sita from Ravana. 

Kothandaramaswamy Temple are ruins of the temple described in Ramayana. It is believed to be the residing spot of Vibhishana, the younger brother of Ravana. The five faced Hanuman Temple is another important temple in Rameswaram which has the famous five manifestations of Lord Hanuman. The serene and tranquil beaches here are sure to soothe your soul. India's first sea bridge, the Pamban bridge is an attraction on it's own.

Day 19 : Rameshwaram

In the afternoon visit the Muneeshwaram Kovil.  

The Munneswaram Kovil is one of the most important Shiva temples in the island and an important pilgrimage site. Its origins are popularly claimed to date back to the mythical era of the Ramayana, and legend states that Bahnu himself worshipped here. 

Thereafter proceed to visit Mannavari Temple. 

Manavari is the first place where Lord Rama installed the Siva Lingam and prayed after the end of the war with King Ravana.

Day 20 : Chilaw

 After breakfast transfer to Trincomalee and visit Thirikoneshwaram Temple in Trincomalee.

After that proceed to visit Thiru Koneswaram Kovil & Kanniya Hot water spring. 

Kanniya Hot water spring has the history from the King Rawana era. It says that King Ravana stuck the earth with his sward in several spots and several fountains were started on those places. The water was hot and that’s the beginning of this hot water springs.

Day 21 : Triconmalee

 After breakfast transfer to Kandy.

En rout visit dambulla cave temples and a Spice garden in Matale.

In the afternoon visit Temple of The Tooth Relic.

Thereafter proceed up to a sightseeing tour of Kandy, including visit a gem factory where you will see gems of all types that are found in Sri Lanka. Finally you will see artisans in a  workroom where you will see several people who are cutting and polishing the gems.

Day 22: Kandy

After transfer to Nuwara Eliya. Visit the Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple, Ramboda en route.

Afterwards, check into the hotel. 

In the afternoon visit the Gayathri Pe(e)dam in Nuwara Eliya. This is believed to be the place from where King Ravana’s son Meghanath propitiated Lord Shiva with penance and pooja’s and in turn was granted super natural powers by lord Shiva.

Day 23 : Nuwara Eliya

 After breakfast proceed to visit Seetha Amman Temple -Seetha Eliya.

Thereafter proceed to visit Divurumpola situated in Nuwara Eliya Welimada road. 

Afterwards transfer to Kataragama. Enroute visit Ravana falls and Ravana Caves.  

These tunnels prove beyond doubt the architectural brilliance of King Ravana, These tunnels served as a quick means of transport through the hills and also as a secret passage.

Day 24 : Tissamaharama

After breakfast, visit the Kataragama shrine, God Skanda (Murugan)

 Thereafter visit Ussanggoda. 

 According to Ramayana, after meeting Seetha Devi Lord Hanuman decided to test the strength of the mighty King Ravana and his army of Rakshasas. In the event that unfolded Lord Hanuman's tail was set on fire by the Rakshasas, who in turn went on to torch some parts of King Ravana's empire. Ussangoda is one of the torched areas, which is said to have been an airport used by King Ravana.

Afterwards transfer to Colombo, en route visiting Rumasela  hills in Galle and Seenigama Temple in Hikkaduwa.

Day 25 : Colombo / AIRPORT

After breakfast proceed up to commence a city tour of Colombo.

Colombo - A drive through the city will take you to the Fort and Pettah - the commercial area of the city and tree-lined Colombo - 07 Cinnamon Gardens. The Hindu Temple at Sea Street, lined with goldsmith's shops, the Dutch Church at Wolfendhal, dating back to 1749. The Independence Hall, B.M.I.C.H, see the replica of Avukana Buddha, the Independence Square & Gangarama Temple.  

 Special visit to Kelaniya Raja Maha Temple and Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple, which is a temple dedicated to Anjaneyar in Sri Lanka

 In the evening departure transfer to Airport.
